TACTICAL RECON

Just as important as destroying a target
is the need to accurately know how much
damage you've done to the target. The
Bf110s were often used in this role, as
cameras were installed on some planes,
and other times just a visual report was
made. The upcoming Kursk battle requires
as much intell data as possible in order
to make the ground assault a success.

MISSION

It is the prelude to Kursk, July 1943. A
large airstrike on a Russian Corps
Headquarters has been ordered. You are
to take part in the strike, but your main
mission is to report the results of the
strike back to headquarters. For a
successful mission, at least 4 buildings
in the target area must be destroyed AND
you must correctly record the number of
buildings destroyed and match that to the
number given in the debriefing room.
Notice that this will require you to be
the last bombing/strafing plane left in
the target area.

NOTES

This is a dawn mission, so use SUNSET.PAC
copied over VGA.PAC. Also, anytime after
the minimum number of buildings are
destroyed, you may find it helpful to
change the other planes' orders to
"return to base" and then make your
visual reconnaissance of the target.
