                             F/A-51Q SUPER MUSTANG

This is a highly modified P-51 Mustang. Had the war progressed, surely jet
technology would have trickled down to prop driven aircraft such as the P-51.
This is such an aircraft, a turbine powered, prop driven P-51. Capable of
nearly 550 mph at 25,000 ft, it would have reigned supreme over the skies.
It's high power would also allow for the use of heavy iron bombs. The .050 cal
machine guns have been replaced by four 20MM cannons. The heavy firepower and
excellent load capability would have made the 51Q an excellent ground attack
aircraft, hence the FA designation. This aircraft carries quite a heavy punch!

Being a dual purpose aircraft, the FA-51Q is equipped with dive brakes [B] for
use in dive bombing. While capable of very heavy loads, operations at full
gross weight dramatically decrease A/C performance. Selecting 2-2000lbs bombs
at the weapons menu will place 2 bombs per side. The A/S indicator has been
upgraded to reflect the higher speeds attainable in the F/A-51Q. Pilots have
taken to calling the F/A-51Q "The Widowmaker." An official name change is
under consideration.

CAUTION: AVOID USE OF FULL MILITARY POWER FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME!!!!!!
